New Music: James Fox

“The Way That We Were” is the first single from Broadway & West End star James Fox’s new album – a new self penned album to be released in the late Summer of 2024. It follows the success of the 2021 Album, “All the Fours” and the singles “Fire & Coal”, “The Rest of Our Lives” and “Nightfall”.

The single was written, recorded and produced by James and he plays every instrument on the track besides the drums, which were played by long time friend, Mike Sorrentino, in Long Island NYC.

On the writing of the track, James said, “This song is a reflective but yet driving rock song, I wanted to have the contrast between the lyric and the music to give that sense of regret but also be uplifting at the same time”
